Ford, GM, Rivian, Volvo, Polestar, and Nissan have already gained access to Tesla’s Supercharger network in the US and Canada, and now Mercedes-Benz is the next car brand to join them.
Today, Mercedes-Benz announced this move, which will take effect starting February. Over 20,000 Tesla Superchargers across the US and Canada will become accessible to Mercedes EVs.
Here’s when Mercedes EVs will gain access to Tesla’s Superchargers in the US and Canada:
Of course, you’ll need an adapter, which will be available from Mercedes dealerships in the US for $185. In Canada, it will arrive at some point in the second quarter (April to June), with pricing confirmed closer to its market introduction.

Here’s how Mercedes EVs will use Tesla’s Superchargers:
Mercedes EVs will support Tesla’s Plug and Charge functionality. This means all you have to do is plug in the car, and the charging session will start automatically, with payment processed in the background once charging is complete.
To enable this, authorized dealers will provide a free software update for Mercedes EVs. Eligible customers will be contacted directly by their local dealers to schedule the software update. Charging sessions can also be initiated via the Mercedes-Benz app or the MBUX infotainment system.
Additionally, Tesla’s Superchargers will be integrated into Mercedes’ Navigation with Electric Intelligence system, which will automatically plan the most efficient and time-saving routes, including transparent charging stops and charging times. With Mercedes Me Charge, you’ll also have full visibility of charger locations, real-time charger availability, status, and pricing.
